What is self storage and how does it work?

Renting a storage unit is a great solution to clear up some much-needed space at home or to hold much needed business items. All of our storage facilities offer clean, secure storage solutions at affordable prices.

How much does self storage cost?

Our rates vary between unit sizes and type of storage. For more information about our pricing, check out our rates page.

Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

What is the best way to pack a unit?

Larger and more infrequently used items should go in the back of the unit. Remember to keep a walkway in the center of your unit to more easily access items. Always keep items labeled and a list of items stored, even a photo on the outside of each box will allow you to "see" what's inside.

Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

No, we rent on a month-to-month basis unless the customer requests otherwise.

What are some helpful tips for moving into my unit?

We pride ourselves on making things as simple as possible for our customers. For helpful tips on packing and organizing your unit, head on over to our storage tips page.

What should I ask when comparison shopping?

What are the TOTAL move-in fees, including rent, and when are these due? How much notice do I need to give prior to vacating? (We do not need any notice, just let us know when you have left!).

Does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gates?

No. At the time of signing, you will be given your own security passcode that will allow you access to your unit during normal access hours.

How do I make a payment?

You can pay in person, use the MyStorPal App, on our website, or send in a check or money order. You may also sign up for our “No Late Fee Guarantee!” and have us run your payments automatically using your credit card/checking account monthly.

What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?

We require a U.S. Government-issued photo ID (example: state driver’s license, or state ID). Please note, we cannot use expired identification cards. Passports are not an acceptable form of ID.

Is there a specific type of lock I need to use?

Yes, there is! We require all customers to use a lock that is bolt-cut proof such as a round disc or cylinder type. Most shrouded locks (where the shackle is protected) are okay too. Not sure if your lock is the right type?
